The highlight of my winter break!

This is my last blog post before I go snowboarding at Mountain High on Saturday. I just bought a whoooole mess of equipment (a board, bindings, boots, and goggles). This is gonna be funnnnizzle. Snowboarding is probably up on my list of favorite sports even though I don’t do it too often because I just love that rush you get and the feeling of freedom because you can do whatever you want once you’re on the board. Ohhh man, it’s awesome. I can’t wait.

OH yeah, I played basketball at Arcadia High School with Daniel, Cristhian, and Natalia today. It was cool, because I hadn’t played basketball for like 5 months and it felt like I gave up my main sport, so yeah, Daniel, thanks for calling me. P.S: The worst feeling in the world is trying to guard or drive past a girl in basketball, because you don’t know whether to show you’re a gentleman by NOT rocking her, or show that you have balls by rocking her. Sooo yeah, never get yourself in that situation.

OH, and as an alley oop post for Daniel, I just want to say that the video of the Army ROTC Airborne School on his blog is badass.

Christmas

1. the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ’s birth, held on December 25.

2. a holiday that needs to be celebrated for its true meaning, which has been forgotten over the years.

Just a thought: Christ + mas = more Christ? Haha, I thought of that today while watching TV.

By a show of hands, who always takes the handicap stall when using a restroom, even if you’re not handicapped?  Cause I know I do.  I mean, it’s like a little apartment in there. I could probably bring in a nice cup of coffee, a good book, and a foot rest while I take the Browns to the Super Bowl.

If we lived in a perfect world…

it wouldn’t rain at night, that way I could enjoy the rain while I was awake.  But then again, if we lived in a perfect world, iPod touches would sell for 2oo bucks cheaper and I would have a job.

Habitat for Humanity Concert

was awesome.  Switchfoot and Relient did an awesome job, and some guy came over and gave all of us free floor passes, so we all went down.  I mean, c’mon, they were free FLOOR PASSES, who would pass that up?  It was awesome, Switchfoot’s lead singer and their bassist gave me high fives.  Have you ever gotten a high five from Switchfoot’s lead singer and/or bassist?  I didn’t think so, that makes me that much cooler than you.  Oh yeah, I lost my shoe while we semi-moshed…but I found it later, which is also cool.

I was at my friend’s house today and I saw a commercial for a movie called “The Mist”.  I got a feeling of deja vu and asked my friend, “Hey, didn’t this movie come out just like 2 years ago?”  He answered, “Naw dude, that was ‘The Fog’. “    The Mist…and The Fog? Both these movies about some kind of water vapor killing people in some kind of demented, horrible way.  Talk about creativity.  Come on, Hollywood.
